Welcome to www.ThePeople.org, www.meetingofamerica.us, and www.nhtogether.us, the websites and online services of One People, Inc. (“The People, Inc.”). The People knows you care how your information is used, stored, and shared. This Privacy Policy explains what information of yours will be collected by The People when you use our online services, how the information will be used, and how you can control the collection, correction and/or deletion of your information. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy governs the website www.thepeople.org, www.nhtogether.us, meetingofamerica.us and any electronic communication(s) sent out by the organization. The website and electronic communications are owned and operated by The People.

Information We Collect

User-Provided Information: We collect information from you when you register on our website(s), make a donation, purchase branded gear, subscribe to a newsletter, register for an online or in-person event, respond to a survey, fill out a form, or enter information on our website. You may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, or other details to enable The People to help you with your experience and to adhere to applicable state and federal laws. If you correspond with us by email, we may retain the content of your email messages, your email address and our responses. We may also retain any messages you send through www.ThePeople.org . You may provide us information in user content you post to www.thepeople.org , including feedback or comments.

The People may also collect other information that cannot identify you personally when you visit our site, including your IP address or your Internet Service Provider. The People may log this information in aggregated forms to monitor our site and to measure site performance.

If you participate in our online and in-person conversations we may request your permission to record those conversations without names associated, and share that audio with Cortico (cortico.ai), to assist in analyzing dialogue. Analyzing conversations for the purpose of enabling participants to build on their work in a progressive fashion is a core element of the service we provide. Any participant included in recorded meetings will have provided informed, written permission for this activity as a condition of participating in the conversation. Cortico maintains a unique cooperation agreement with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology that enables collaboration on IP, prototyping, and field pilots. These audio recordings will be deleted within 24 months after being recorded.

The People’s websites are hosted by Squarespace and WordPress.

The People uses Google Analytics to help understand the use of the  www.thepeople.org, www.nhtogether.us, and www.meetingofamerica.us websites. - reCAPTCHA -

The People uses Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent spam and block "bots." The program uses anonymous information about the user's activity on the site to determine whether the user is a real person or a "bot."

The People uses other platforms to organize our community of members, supporters and prospects. For Registration: When you sign up for an event via our website(s), we collect your name, email address and account credentials. Registration is not required to use our platform or website. If you are merely a visitor, we only collect limited information through the use of cookies. For information related to our use of cookies please see the information provided below.

For Newsletter Signups: When you sign up for a One People, Inc. (“The People” or “NH Together”) mailing list, we collect your name and email address. You can opt-out of receiving any communications by contacting us at info@thepeople.org  or by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link in the communication that was sent to you.

For Online Events/ Meetings: We gather information through voluntary questionnaires, event registration forms, surveys and feedback programs. We ask you for your consent to use this information when you participate in these programs and events.

By providing The People your email address (including by “following,” “liking,” linking your account to www.thepeople.org, nhtogether.us or meetingofamerica.us on a third party website or network), you consent to our using the email address to send you The People’s program-related notices, including any notices required by law, in lieu of communication by postal mail. You also agree that we may send you notifications of activity on www.thepeople.org or its affiliated sites to the email address you give us, in accordance with any applicable privacy settings. We may use your email address to send you other messages, such as newsletters, changes to features of www.thepeople.org or its affiliated sites, or other information. Following termination or deactivation of your The People account, The People may retain your profile information and user content for a reasonable time for archival purposes. Furthermore, The People may retain and continue to use indefinitely all information (including user content) contained in your communications to other users or posted to public or semi-public areas of www.thepeople.org or its affiliated sites after termination or deactivation of your account.

The People reserves the right, but has no obligation, to monitor the user content you post on www.thepeople.org or affiliated sites. You may, of course, decline to submit personally identifiable information through thepeople.org, in which case The People may not be able to provide certain services to you, including the ability to make financial contributions to The People. For that reason, The People does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register for www.thepeople.org  accounts.
