New Hampshire Fundraiser Position

The Fundraiser is a six month contract position, with possible extension, that is responsible for The People’s fundraising efforts in New Hampshire. Fundraising efforts will be completed through direct solicitation, research on prospective funders, writing grants / LOI for funding opportunities, and leading the overall fundraising efforts in NH. 

The People is a completely virtual team, so the New Hampshire Fundraiser needs to be a driven self-starter, able to work successfully with minimal oversight. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills, with proficiency in G-Suite and MS Office. Familiarity with NeonCRM, GrantStation, or similar applications, is a plus. The People is a strictly nonpartisan organization, and as such it is essential that candidates are able to work directly and respectfully with individuals from all points of the political spectrum without bias.

Education/Experience:

  • Grant writing experience required 

  • Minimum 1-3 years of fundraising experience

  • MUST RESIDE IN / WITHIN SHORT TRAVEL OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

Skills: 

  • Research experience

  • Ability to work on multiple projects and remain organized

  • Comprehension of strategic documents and translating these into grant proposals

Contract Terms:

This is a six month fundraising contract with negotiable compensation. Fundraising goals and weekly hour commitment to be negotiated.

Travel:

Travel throughout New Hampshire for fundraising events, meetings with possible grant makers, etc as needed.
