National House of Delegates

The People’s House of Delegates works in conjunction with the Executive Board and staff to be an advocate of The People’s work.

Our National House of Delegates, made up of 29 volunteers from across the country, serves as our governing body and the heartbeat of this organization. Delegates do this by:

  • Providing input and support to the organization, and committing to working with us to successfully complete our mission.

  • Ensuring that the organization does the best work possible in pursuit of its goals

  • Committing to remain nonpartisan in their work with The People

  • Serving a 2-year term

  • Voting on: Executive Board additions, by-law changes, new Executive Director hire, and reform effort support

  • Regularly attending and contributing to a committee, project, or activity sponsored by The People

  • Adhering to a Personal Code of Conduct

The National House of Delegates does not bear any fiduciary responsibility for the affairs and property of The People.
